we've traded our freedom for a dream but serotonin was in the fine print now we can't even fall asleep
was it raining or have our tears flooded the streets?
are they the new precipitation that wets the ground beneath our feet?
the stars shine on you and they teach you how to see
this mirror seems crowded but unlike stars we don't shine
