I know you want me to entertain don't want me to be lame don't wanna hear me say stuff that might sober you up and make you give a fuck too bad, you're out of luck! because I'm not that funny of a guy, and besides I've got too many questions in my mind like why do I so often resent the world I'm living in? and am I boring you yet with the same old shit again? did you know that change is within reach? and it starts with ourselves. the stuff we learn and the stuff we teach! the willingness to be honest with ourselves and everybody else is the first step to cooling this hell and did you know that music is a very powerful thing? and lyrics can be more than just mindless singing? and maybe you can't change the world, but you can change yourself and the music should be fun, but sometimes there's something else... entertainment vs. enlightenment you learn the words to every single verse entertainment vs. enlightenment but it still doesn't make a dent entertainment vs. enlightenment somebody took the time to write these lines entertainment vs. enlightenment so think about what they meant yeah, and did you know that music is a very powerful thing? and it's a lot more fun than sitting around whacking (I don't know about that) and maybe you can't change the world, but you can change yourself and music should be fun, but sometimes there's something else... the things you call important are making me see red the patches that you wear and the spikes on your head are nothing but a fashion show and you judge everyone on a sliding scale of "punk" like you were the first one you say music with a message is a fucking bore? I guess it takes away from the punk points you score but you hate it cause it makes you think I think you hate it cause it makes you think.
